You can probably get the shuffle early, I'm sure one of the retailers will accidently sell one to its customers or have already put it out on display.

Hi,
I�ve read a lot about capturing dv avi from tape with iMovie will suck.
I already captured these files a while ago before I got my mbp.
If I load them onto the mbp and use them in iMovie and export to DVD, will it still suck?

Unlike most of you spoiled punks who never owned an Atari or played in a real arcade, I did and this game ROCKS! $15 for chunk o' games is nothing unless you're still living off yer mama's teet. Get a job, even a remedial one like the Apple store and quit yer whining. You just suck in Asteroids, that's all.

The larger projects are the ones you make your money on. Little jobs sometimes hardly warrant all the time in initial consultation, doing quotes, invoices, possibly banking cheques and other admin. So don't necessarily turn down good work, but just make sure you're setting your prices, not him. Charge him for every minute of author's corrections too, and make sure that's written on the quote that he signs to accept the job.
Oh, and I forgot to say before, if you do decide to take on any more work from him, make sure you get paid for these jobs first! He could be a non-payer, and then you'll really know what a nightmare client is all about!
Hi. Thanks for the advice. I definitely won't lift a finger towards another job until he pays for this one. I made sure he paid up for the logo before I started the site concept. Overall the guy gives me bad vibes. My other clients are always happy with the end result and we interact civilly. If this guy talks down to me one more, I'll politely cut him loose. Who needs the headache. :) Thanks again!

Does this mean whoever randomly happened to have iCloud.com just made 4.5M$? Is there any money to be made by squatting on those? That seems counterintuitive, since if anyone could do it, so could Apple. Or do all domain names that have the form i[noun].com cost a ton of money for that reason?

I don't understand why the maps app doesn't take your location twice before giving you directions. There's been dozens of times I'm on the highway looking for directions and it thinks I'm on the other side of the highway or it thinks I'm on some street I just passed over.
If it took my location, waited a second, and took my location again it would know exactly which direction I was headed or which street I was on.
