You better using a width of 100% and then em based measurements for children this is what i had to do to get my uni work working on the iPad.
I'm not sure, where you think I should have the 100% width? I do not like the site to be 100% on a screen with a width of, for instance, 1600px. What about the childs you are talking about?

Downloading games or ROM files for this video game system is technically illegal, unless they are home-brewed, and should not be discussed here. The device should work with Mac OS X since it mounts as a USB drive.
Apart from cash, I have the following I coul trade:
PAL GameCube

I have and Iphone 3g, with the latest ipsw installed by Itunes 10 (should be 4.2.1)
In order for me to downgrade I have to put my phone into DFU mode which has been difficult, but through Google I found a forum post that said redsnow will put your phone into DFU mode, you just need the exact ipsw to start the redsnow process...
I have downloaded 4.2.1 but redsnow doesn't recognize it, any idea what could be wrong?

I had this problem before, but forgot how to fix. I have two strange files in my trash that won't delete. There are a bunch of strange characters for a name. i've tried the force erase, pulling it out of the trash, and renaming it. Nothing worked. I remember reading somewhere that it has to do with my bootcamp and typing something into the terminal will fix it. Unfortunately I don't remember what to type into the terminal, but it worked last time I had this problem. I don't have windows on my mac.

I like these, although I think the Giraffe would be better with some colour. I love the first two though, how long did they take?

Does it include Applecare 3 yr?
Is office retail boxed or atleast w/ legitimate serial?
If no to either then no. Apple sells refurbished model for approx ~180 bucks less on us refurbed site, but theirs includes full warranty.

Letting Android users access the iTunes music store would actually be a very good idea for Apple.

Actually, turns out you can't share your AirPort while connected to a wireless network. You can only set the AirPort card to communicate with the wireless network OR create a wireless network of it's own, not both.
Great. I wanted to play online with my Nintendo DS, but it can only understand WEP security, not WAP, and I'm not going to turn my basestation back to WEP.

I tried to read the article, but couldn't come away with anything as mind blowing as the title. Perhaps it's that Finals-Week state of mind...
Can someone sum up in two lines what's so cool about this, and what the possibilities are? From what I read it sounded like they made a better PDF file...
Tyler Z.
I think this kind off document would be usefull in big companies. I used to work at a bank where I needed to delegate invoices. The invoice had a lifecycle of:
central incomming invoices => delegation to departments => send to proper financial directors => sign or deny invoices => possible 2nd sign => go to financial department => include in financial book => pay => archive invoice
I would imagine that if you can make a single electronic document that represents only the required data for each user, this process can be greatly optimized.

Laptop GPU's aren't really widely available for sale like desktop GPUs, if you do find one get ready to pay a steep price as they are intended to be replacements for defective/broken parts in gaming laptops.

I have an issue wherein sometimes when I pick my phone up after it has been laying around sleeping, the phone won't jump from 3G to WiFi like it usually does but it will stay on 3G. When I go into settings WiFi is definitely "on" but the phone isn't picking up any WiFi networks. It tries and tries and the spinning circle keeps going but it never finds anything. Even flicking WiFi on and off doesn't help. I have to turn the phone itself off and back on for it to finally pick up WiFi again. This has happened twice since I got the phone on launch day. Very annoying. My black one never did that.

hey
I have had my mac book pro since early 2010 and have been beginning to notice that when I use it and it is plugged in to the charger cord the left side of the bottom of the computer gets REALLY REALLY hot! It cools off if I unplug the unit, but sometimes I want to work plugged in. Plus I am just not getting the battery life I used to get. On average I have about 4 hours of battery.... Used to get 7+. Any thoughts?
It's normal that the MagSafe adapter and your MBP will get hot while charging. As for your battery life, reset the SMC and calibrate your battery. Instructions for both in the link below. This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:

QT has some good abilities to facilitate cross platform development and still let you use xcode, using qmake from a .pro file.

Hmmm.... in vecLib/clapack.h they're declared with a trailing underscore. If I replace sgetrf with sgetrf_ it still compiles and runs and the implicit declaration warning goes away. Strange that they're declared this way?
EDIT: Because we're calling Fortran code, so apparently the trailing underscore is to be expected. It also explains why all the arguments are passed by reference. However the examples in the Use the Accelerate Framework for Data Processing guide doesn't show the trailing underscores.
That does the trick. Thanks. I also doubt the underscore was present in the examples I found a while back and I obviously overlooked them in the header file.
