What do you have the resolution set to on the Mini? The monitor is trying to tell you to set it to 1280x1024, rather than whatever it is right now.

Good news for AAPL, I hope they can continue to add more countries and get the iPhone in as many hands as possible :)

You can add support for a 2nd external monitor using the 15"17" PowerBooks PCMCIA slot: http://www.villagetronic.com/e_pr_vtbook.html
Cool, it's good to know that the option is there in the future.

Right now, the Internet is EXTREMELY slow. And it's not just Apple's website and the rumor sites, it's everything. Everyone's probably checking out the MacBook Air, downloading iTunes/iPhone/iTouch updates, etc. Anyone else noticing this?
You can't honestly believe that an Apple announcement has ability to slow down the internet.

Still having problems im afraid . ive taken screen caps but they are very small will try and sort that out in a bit. my footage is in DV pal but i was exporting in H.264. would that affect the outcome of the export? Like i say i changed the frame rate of the export to match the clip settings . the only reason im not using final cut pro is because i had a problem with that too where the canvas player was not giving me the play back of the timeline

Looks like the same as the pogo stylus.
Not really… as I understand it, the Pogo measures surface area in contact with the screen to infer pen pressure, for a start, which is pretty inaccurate. The hypothetical Apple one would have a pressure sensor to register pen pressure accurately (and in a way, presumably, one could calibrate). Additionally, the Apple one proposes to register rotation and tilt, which puts it in a different class entirely for drawing purposes.
Cheers

Can you be more specific about what you are doing, and why you need the screensaver to run?

I am going to buy a new iMac, I was thinking at the 21,5" but I am having troubles making the decision of which one, the basic or the top...
What do you think?
The 21,5" with intel core i7 at 2,8 Ghz and 8 Gb Sdram (plus the AMD Radeon HD 6770M GDDR5 - 512MB) does worth the price?
Are there great differences between the 6770 and the 6750 on the basic one?
If anoyone can give ma an advice, thanks a lot!

I just bought a VGA cable for my 360 so my Wii can finally take it's permanent place using my sole component port on my lil LCD TV.
But I havea few little issues with it. My TV's actual resolution is 1440 x 900 so I figured that the 360 wouldn't offer that in it's resolution so I have it set as 1280 x 720. It works pretty decently. When I watch dvd's that are in 4:3 (like The Simpsons) it has the black bars on the side. I have to manually tell it to stretch it each time I click on an episode in which is a pain in the ass. It never used to do this with component. Any way around this?
Plus the colour quality is a little worse off. It looks a lot whiter I guess, kinda washed out a bit. I played with the colours and got it looking pretty close to how I had it with the component but it's just not quite there.
Any advice on how to make it look it's best? I haven't tried it with games yet, just with a few demo's I have on the system.

pics are small with a lot of compression artifacting so it's difficult to see what's going on and what's caused by what.
lens aberration usually occurs around the outer edge of the lens.
do you see this in the viewfinder or just after importing.
could be blown out whites combined with high contrast (white shirt under black shirt). Could be autofocus hunting. Could be a sensor problem. Lots of "could be's" that require a controlled environment if you want to troubleshoot.
If your shooting auto anything, turn it off and compare.
I would do controlled tests using a focus chart and color chart if i wanted to troubleshoot. Test multiple exposures. You could also throw on another lens.
Thanks for the reply!
I don't see this in the viewfinder. This was taken on manual focus by zooming in, focussing, then back out, so the subject should be in critical focus.
I'll track down a focus chart and color chart and test it out.
The camera is set on cine gamma and pressed blacks. Do you think that impact along with the contrast of black to white? It doesn't always have this odd effect when on these settings.

Garand, your wife is making life difficult for herself. This is where it all is:
Photoshop > Menu: File > Automate > Batch...
With some batch-processing, you may have to set up an action first in the Actions palette.

...I'm wondering if there are any better apps to monitor FaH, which also include the ability to pause FaH, for the mac (leopard specifically)???
Thanks :)
welcome, and thanks for folding. i think you already found the two i would've recommended.
i assume when you say 'pause' you mean a 1 click or right-click 'pause'... nothing that i am aware of, but that's not saying much. EDIT: the current increase release FAQ page says 'You can start, stop, pause, and continue easily from InCrease or its Dock menu.' but since i'm not using it anymore, i can't confirm or deny that...
first, i guess, what kind of computer, and which client are you using? assume mac, and guessing the command line interface, so increase is about the only way to start/stop without getting geeky in terminal.
more info, and we can try and get you better answers. best of luck.

In great shape, has a few scratches on the back (from normal wear) and a couple of very minor ones on the front. Comes with Firewire cable, clear plastic cable clip and cloth carrying pouch.
Here (http://gallery.mac.com/sfhosley#100031&bgcolor=black&view=grid) are some pictures. What can I get for it?

i recently bought an ibook g4. when i am using it, from time to time i hear a slight click from the hard drive. the S.M.A.R.T status is "verified". so is the drive up to no good?
