Not sure but the store might be able to help. Is this the flag ship store?

I will likely try Washington Square, although I agree that Bridgeport will likely have the shortest line, so maybe if the weather is nice......

Operating a PC I felt like I had one hand tied behind my back trawling through the system trying to keep a handle on everything. Within a couple of months of owning a Mac I understand where all my files are, how to manage modify and play with them.
On a PC I was never quite sure when those "Shut down now" boxes would appear. The worst that happens with the mac is that I have to click a button to Force Quit an application with no apparent side effects on the system. And according to my crash log, since replacing a defective RAM chip and partitioning, there has never been a blip on my daily 10.2.4 partition, and the glitches on a highly abused "betas partition" has never forced me to restart the system in order to keep working.
Thanks to the stability and the unerring intuitive ability of the Mac and Jaguar, I am able to do all manner of tasks and multi media projects with no previous knowledge of this set up.
Plus, having paid a premium for the Powerbook and taken a lot of flak from PC owners about the price and the limitations of the Mac - no software blah blah blah - I have spent just 60 extra on Appleworks and not had to pay a penny more for a single byte of the extra software and utilities that reside on my betas partition. (It's all there on the internet, and the interfaces are all alike with not a trace of garish Windows style candy.)
And having bought into the Apple community, if I have a problem, it does not matter that I am the only PB owner in this town. Solutions are all on the internet in forums like this. Likewise it is irrelevant that none of the shops know anything about Macintosh. It is all available on the internet and through the post.
So, goodbye PC and Windows. Even if XP is like nothing that has gone before, I am happy with the product and the philosophy of the minority Mac. I have a feeling that this Powerbook really is a long term investment, another concept that does not equate with a PC.

In this thread: http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=12265169&postcount=35 a user reports that they got 3.2.6 via Software Update.
I've never had SU show any Xcode updates on either my MB or MBP.
However, there are actually some Xcode updates listed in the Software Update catalog here: http://swscan.apple.com/content/catalogs/others/index-leopard-snowleopard.merged-1.sucatalog
So why isn't it offering them to me?

Well it can be as slow as 400MHz and as fast as 700MHz. If you could find out how much RAM its already got installed and how fast it is, we could probably make some better suggestions for you. For example, a 700MHz model with 768-1GB of RAM and AirPort card could serve as a nice kitchen/livingroom web browser Mac. If its only 400MHz with 64MB of RAM in it, then it would probably better serve as an OS 9 word processor.

My PC was lost in a breakup so i had no computer. I started dating agin the the person only had a mac.... a very old one. I thought i can't believe this is what I have to use for now. I was saving money to buy another PC... but before i knew it I was buying another mac!!! That old mac outdid anything my PC could have done and never gave me issues. So now I have 1 Ibook, 1 graphic Imac, and i had work order me an Emac for the classroom. I am hooked. I have also managed to get 3 of my friends to switch to macs.

No problems with sb settings either. I was thinking the only problems hanging on were with the unlockers retaining basebands.
OP: you may want to edit the article and fix some errors.
I wish more people would take the plunge, the more people see neat tweaks the more likely they are to be sucked into being native to the next ios.

Hello,
I am currently in the market for a hard case for my iPod Touch. I am using a Zagg Invisible shield on it right now and it worked great for the first two days and now its peeling off on the corners and there is pocket lint stuck to it so im looking for something new. I want a case that is clear and thin, almost like i don't even have a case and i've narrowed it down to two:
1) Power Support's Clear Air Jacket (http://www.powersupportusa.com/catalog/product/view/id/287/s/air-jacket-set/category/5/)
2)The Switcheasy NUDE (http://www.switcheasy.com/products/NUDETouch/NUDETouch.php#)
If any of you have any experience with these products I would love to hear your opinions or any suggestions of similar cases.
I havent heard of the first one, but i would suggest the NUDE. I love switcheasy, but i wouldnt get the clear one, they usually look bad. They usually arent perfectly clear and distort the imagery of the device.

Ketchup is really corrosive, I found that you can use it to polish copper. If you want to try to clean it do it soon.

pics are small with a lot of compression artifacting so it's difficult to see what's going on and what's caused by what.
lens aberration usually occurs around the outer edge of the lens.
do you see this in the viewfinder or just after importing.
could be blown out whites combined with high contrast (white shirt under black shirt). Could be autofocus hunting. Could be a sensor problem. Lots of "could be's" that require a controlled environment if you want to troubleshoot.
If your shooting auto anything, turn it off and compare.
I would do controlled tests using a focus chart and color chart if i wanted to troubleshoot. Test multiple exposures. You could also throw on another lens.

The Diamondbach is $200 think I will spend that money on something else LOL. I could see maybe $125 for a full chrome version but chrome is not even a option.
Also I guess they dont make a full chrome Atomic bumper either seems like I saw a pic of one at the site but its not an option for purchase only that trim piece oh well.

seeing as there isnt a post i thought i would make one :D
still deciding whether or not to get an ipad, but i really want to go up early, i want the experience of waking up at like 5 in the morning just to go get one :p
also does anyone know where the queue will be? outside the bentalls centre or outside the shop
I went there for the 3GS launch and they held us outside Bentalls Centre, then about 30 mins before we were moved to outside the store and they brought us coffee.
Would guess it'll be the same this time. IF it's a Saturday 24th Launch, I'll see you there.... if not, I'll probably be going to Bluewater instead.

I have the amp connected to the headphone jack. Works fine for me and the cable didn't cost $33. :-)
My headphone jack is bad. You can't repair it, as it's soldered to the logic board.

What you'd like for that is a program that can edit in spectrum view. You would then be able to see the beeps and remove them with some careful selecting and deleting.
A waveform view shows amplitude of the sound (how loud it is) on the vertical. In a spectrum view you generally see the frequency range of the sound on the vertical. You would then see the beeps as short dense patches of sound in a specific frequency range.
Soundtrack Pro will do this. I've also used Izotope RX for this, but that's a fairly pricey app. There are others that will do it as well, but I'm not as well versed in them.
