While not allowing you to pinpoint a specific year of manufacture, the model number (sometimes called the Part Number by Apple) should give you a hint.
If it's MB321LL/A, then that's the latest Express, with WiFi-N, first released in 2008.
If it's something else, then it's the Express with WiFi-G, first released in 2004.
EDIT: flopticalcube beat me to the punch. Well played.
/shakes tiny fist anyway

I wish to make a plain and simple business card
I have found the program 'Business Card Composer 5.0.4' however it is much to complicated
Does anyone have any suggestions for a nice easy simple program to fullfil my needs?

Apple today released QuickTime 7.6.8 for Windows (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL837), addressing a pair of security issues (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4339) related to ActiveX control and QuickTime Picture Viewer. The update weighs in at MB and requires Windows 7, Vista, or XP (SP2 or later).
this is good news.

I don't think this is odd behavior. My ref. Apple 15 inch LCD does this all the time.
It's a nice feeling to know your monitor doesn't try to blind you after being in a dark room for a while. :D

I currently have an ipad 1 as a dev running 4.3 so I have the additional gestures. I love these features and want to keep them, but I think it's time to finally jailbreak my ipad; mainly for infinifolders. I've been jailbreaking iphones since the beginning, but have been relatively satisfied with a stock ipad seeing as I don't use it very often.
Question is, there's a new firmware (4.3.2) out there and I picked a good day to look as an untethered jailbreak was also released today. Will I lose the additional gestures if I upgrade/jailbreak?
thanks!

Thanks Anthony for the background, I appreciate it! :D
After re-springing, I discovered the the labels and dock were hidden lol. The font is Geo Sans Light if anyone is interested.
However, I would still like to know how he got the other things that I listed to work. So consider this a bump. Please and thank you! :)

I'm pretty sure it's deserialized from the main nib which is declared in the Info.plist file. But I am at work on a PC so can't check right now.

Golden rule: do not buy no name RAM. Most of it won't work.
Well known brands like Crucial/Micron, Corsair, Kingston, Hynix, Samsung, Infineon etc. will work. RAM must be low density (ask seller before buying in case of any doubts).

Hello. I have a question that hopefully someone can answer.
Are the powerbooks able to dual monitor span between an external monitor and the powerbook screen? Or do I need two external monitors?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

I think that a main issue is that you're just letting the images float in the <body> tag. Try enclosing them in a <div> tag with a width of 100%.

Some of the alert sounds that you can use are a little quieter by nature than others. Maybe go through them and see if you can find one that is a little less obtrusive? Hope this helps! :)
looks like that's my main option, thanks,

Disconnect the charger and hold the power button down for 10 seconds. Reconnect the charger and try to power it on.

i dont think u can do that, so you will have to buy it outright
Definitely will.
Assuming you're in the US it'll be $599/$699. Depending on several factors, however, you could be eligible for a $399/$499 early upgrade.
All these prices are Apple store prices btw (AT&T is $50 more for the early upgrade)

Thankyou so much for the link, we will be trying that tonight! Just out of curiosity, do you have any ideas as to why this sort of thing happens or if there is anyway to avoid such things in future?

When you dock it to your iTunes it should pop up a warning that it is sunk to another iTunes account. It should also warn you that if you continue everything will be deleted from your iPad (as in apps, music, videos, books, etc...) and it will sync to your account.
You shouldn't need to restore the firmware to do what you wish....
Hmm, thanks. I never got any message like this but I went ahead and sync'd anyway and all is well now

"I want to set up all this stuff on it"
Let me guess, pirating?
You don't need SSH to set up things.
How would you pirate with SSH? I use it for installing Winterboard themes. And by SSH I mean iPhoneBrowser. SSH needs wifi and drains battery life, while iPhoneBrowser just requires a USB cord. Plus SSH makes your iPod vulnerable to hacking (unless you change the default password from alpine, which many people don't do).
Just go here: http://code.google.com/p/iphonebrowser/downloads/detail?name=SetupiPhoneBrowser.1.93.exe&can=2&q= and download it. If you have Windows 7, you have to run it in compatibility mode for Vista.
PS: 4.0 on iPod touch 2G is terribly slow. You should update to 4.2 and jailbreak with redsn0w (untethered for MB models), and it will be a bit faster.
